These entries were submitted by IHLA member schools and are the work of language community schools, whose students write, draw and reflect through their work, the importance of mother languages at the community level and for today's global village.
We invite you to read through these 103 entries and discover how international language learners of all ages use their tongues to communicate their thoughts and share dreams, hopes and ideas for the future.
The short video presentation (sneak peak) of the book can be viewed below. IHLA will publish this book in hard copies and these are available through the IHLA office. Just email us at: edmontonihla@gmail.com. Students who have individually contributed to the book with a story, poem or drawing will each receive one complimentary hard copy of the book at the MLD event.
Remember to mark your calendars and attend the celebration on
Saturday, February 25, 2012 at the Italian Cultural Centre!
Enjoy!
