Connecting our world through languages
by Justin Antunes
A world is better with different languages because you can connect with people around the world in which you may have some great opportunities to learn many new and great things.
There are many advantages of knowing a second language you can get better jobs and you could go to different countries and visit family all around the world you can talk to people and know what they are saying and what they tell you. There are many beautiful countries where you can see other cultures and how they act and talk.
You can find many jobs in other countries such as an architect, mayor, singer, dancer, teacher, news reporter and a lot more. Jobs in different places can be very important because they might need people with that kind of education in their school life and need people like them to help out and work.
You can get other forms of education in different countries and learn new stuff such as the discovery of their country the climate of it and much more. You can go see to their university or colleges and search for a better education and a more successful life, like working on your Masters or PhD.
Family- everybody has some kind of family living in a different country and if you don’t know how to speak with them, now this is your chance to learn their language and culture. Like this you can live with happiness in your life because you know how to talk to people.
There are many fun and beautiful cultures in the world such as Portuguese, Italian, Spanish, Asian and many more. We have different cultures to make the world more neat and fun. If we never had these cultures the world would just be plain boring, we would not have the good foods that people make such as, tacos, rice, salads, noodles and a lot more.
For all of these reasons and many more, it is great for people to learn other languages and many countries to visit and see family and a lot more. This is my perspective on what do in your life.

O mundo é melhor com muitas línguas diferentes porque tu podes ligar com pessoas diferentes à volta do mundo e tambem podes ter vantagens e grandes oportunidades de aprender muitas coisas novas.
Há muitas vantagens de saber uma segunda língua como tu podes encontrar melhores trabalhos e podes ir aos países diferentes e visitar a família toda à volta do mundo, tu podes falar as pessoas e compreender o que estão a te dizer. Há muitos países bonitos onde tu podes ver outras culturas e como actuam e falam.
Tu podes encontrar muitos trabalhos em outros países tais como um arquiteto, presidente da câmara, cantor, dançarino, professor, repórter da notícia e muito mais. Os trabalhos em lugares diferentes podem ser muito importantes porque podem precisar povos com educaçåo de niveis mais altos para trabalhar.
Tu podes conheçer outros formulários de instrução em países diferentes e aprender material novo tal como a descoberta do teu país, o clima e muito mais. Tu podes ir ver as universidades ou faculdades e procurara uma educação melhor e por uma vida mais sucedida, como trabalhar no teu mestrado ou PhD.
A família- todos nós temos família a viver num país diferente e se tu não sabes falar bem com eles, tens a possibilidade de aprender a tua língua e cultura. Isto é muito bom porque tu podes viver com felicidade na tua vida porque sabes falar com outras pessoas.
Há muitas culturas bonitas no mundo tal como o português, italiano, espanhol, o asiático e muito mais. Nós temos as culturas diferentes para fazer o mundo mais interessante e divertido. Se nós nunca tivemos estas culturas o mundo apenas seria simples, nós não conhecianes bons alimentos que os povos fazem como, tacos, arroz, saladas, massas e muito mais.
Para toda estas razões e muito mais, é muito importante para que as pessoas aprendam outras línguas e que tenham a oportubidade de visitar muitos países e ver a família e muito mais. Esta é minha perspectiva no que podes fazer na tua vida.

Połączenie świata
za pośrednictwem językόw
Nazywam się Antoni
Stefanicki. Jestem uczniem siόdmej klasy. Od piątego
roku życia uczę się pięciu językόw. Zaczynałem od języka
polskiego oczywiście. W klasie kindergarten zacząłem uczyć się francuskiego i
niemieckiego a także dwόch chińskich:
mandaryńskiego i kantońskiego. Gdy moi rodzice przeprowadzili się do Edmontonu
musiałem zostawić naukę językόw azjatyckich,
dlatego że wszystkie szkoły językowe w tym mieście są tylko w soboty. Aby nie
stracić językόw polskiego i
niemieckiego, do tych dwόch szkόł chodzę uczyć się w co drugą sobotę.
Za tę możliwość jestem bardzo wdzięczny obu dyrektorkom tych szkόł : Pani Krystynie Dembowskiej i Frau
Bulow. Od klasy trzeciej w mojej szkole wszedł język angielski. Od rozpoczęcia
tego roku szkolnego zacząłem naukę języka hiszpańskiego, co daje mi dużo przyjemności.
Mόj najlepszy kolega
w swoim domu rozmawia z tatą tylko po hiszpańsku, a ja z całą moją rodziną
tylko po polsku. Gdy się spotykamy po szkole, to on pomaga mi poznać wiele słόw z języka hiszpańskiego, a ja uczę go
języka niemieckiego – bo jego mama jest pochodzenia niemiecko-duńskiego. W
czasie wakacji spotykaliśmy się dwa lub trzy razy w tygodniu i zanim zaczęliśmy
grać w rόżne gry, a nawet w
trakcie zabawy, uczyliśmy się nowych słόwek. Mama mojego kolegi jest nauczycielką w Lendrum
Elementary School i powiedziała nam, że to jest najszybsza i najprzyjemniejsza
nauka, bo możemy bawić się ucząc i uczyć bawiąc jednocześnie. W ten sposόb
Mikel i ja mieliśmy bardzo udane ostatnie wakacje. To wszystko co się od niego nauczyłem teraz przydaje mi się w szkole
na lekcjach języka hiszpańskiego. Rodzice mojego kolegi zapisali go do
sobotniej niemieckiej szkoły i w ten sposόb nasza przyjaźń rozpoczęła się dla każdego z nas nauką nowego języka obcego. Cieszę się z
tego, bo znowu uczę się pięciu językόw: polskiego, niemieckiego, francuskiego,
angielskiego i hiszpańskiego, co daje mi w przyszłości możliwość pracy w każdym
miejscu na świecie. Daje mi to też możliwość wybrania zawodu, ktόry chciałbym wykonywać gdy będę już dorosły. Gdziekolwiek pόjdę będę się czuł przyjemnie, bo będę nie
tylko rozumiał, ale i sam będę rozmawiał. W maju przyszłego roku moja klasa
wybiera się na siedmiodniową wycieczkę
do miasta Quebec i w drugi dzień do Montrealu. Będziemy mόwić tylko w języku
francuskim, dlatego że jest to prowincja francuskojęzyczna. Po dwόch chłopcόw będzie mieszkać w rodzinach, gdzie mόwią tylko w tym języku. Nie mogę się
doczekać! To będzie najlepszy test, egzamin z moich ośmiu lat nauki języka
francuskiego. Takim samym sprawdzianem jest nasz rodzinny wyjazd na wakacje do
Polski, gdzie bez przeszkόd mogę z każdym porozmawiać,
wszystko przeczytać czy coś napisać dla babci. Moim zdaniem warto jest uczyć
się każdego języka, bo nigdy nie wiesz, kiedy on może ci się przydać.

Świat jest wielki i
olbrzymi, przestronny i ogromny. Ludzie są rozproszeni po wszystkich zakątkach
ziemi, a jednak mamy sposób na wymianę informacji, wiemy co się dzieje na całym
świecie. W ciągu kilku minut możemy mieć te informacje w zasięgu naszych palców.
Języki pomagają nam
łączyć świat jako całość. Przez znajomość języka uczymy się o różnych
kulturach, tradycjach i o innych narodach. Dzięki nim uzyskamy wiele
informacji. Języki nie tylko dają nam sposób na łączenie światów, ale dają też
wolę rozumienia drugiego człowieka. Dzięki językom rozumiemy uczucia drugiego
człowieka. Mówimy i słuchamy: to nas łączy.
Tylko dzięki znajomości
języków możemy prawdziwie zrozumieć świat.

Połączenie naszego świata za pośrednictwem języków.
W dzisiejszej erze koputerów i całego świata elektroniki
oraz powszechnej znajomości języka angielskiego, który stał się językiem międzynarodowym
– komunikowanie się ludzi wszystkich narodów i ras – stało się codziennością.
Politycy i biznesmeni z różnych krajów nie muszą
jeździć na robocze konferencje. Po prostu łączą się wizualnie i werbalnie
używając techniki elektronicznej. To samo dotyczy wiadomości z kraju i ze świata.
Mamy wiadomości z ostatniej chwili z najdalszych zakątków świata, gdy wejdziemy
na odpowiednią stronę internetową komputera, czy włączymy odbiornik TV o każdej
porze dnia i nocy.
Dzięki powszechnemu zastosowaniu i powszechej
znajomości języka angielskiego używanego w środkach masowego przekazu, w
bankach, na lotniskach – za pośrednictwem koputerów – świat stał się mały. Każdy
może się porozumieć z każdym. Nigdzie nie jest daleko jeżeli masz przed sobą
klawiaturę i ekran komputera.. Z każdym momencie możesz zawrzeć znajomość; w
sumie nie znając tej drugiej osoby, nie spotykając się z nią. Ja z takiej
możliwości nie korzystam. Osobiście lubię Facebook i wymianę przemyśleń z moimi
przyjaciółmi.
W dawnych czasach, gdy nastąpił upadek cesarstwa
zachodniorzymskiego i do końca okresu średniowiecza (koniec V wieku do XV
wieku) rolę języka miedzynarodowego w mowie i piśmie pełniła łacina. W Polsce dopiero
w schyłku średniowiecza, polski pisarz Mikołaj Rey, rok przed swoją śmiercią
(1568) napisał utwór „Źywot człowieka poczciwego”, a w nim znamienne słowa „A
niechaj narodowie wżdy postronni znają...”. Z rozpoczęciem epoki Odrodzenia
zaczęło zanikać piśmiennictwo i język łaciński w powszechym wymiarze. Nastąpił
rozkwit literatury, języka i piśmiennictwa poszczególnych narodów, który trwa
do dzisiaj, jednakże do wspólnej, wzajemnej komunikacji dzięki elektronice
rozwinął się język angielski.

Świat łączy nas poprzez języki
Wszyscy na tym świecie są łączeni przez języki.
Chodząc do polskiej szkoły sobotniej, ja uczę się mówić po polsku. W ten
sposób, jestem połączona ze wszystkimi w Polsce, bo mogeęsię z nimi porozumieć.
Mogę rozumieć,mówić i pisać ze wszystkimi Polakami na świecie.
Mieszkając w Kanadzie, mówię też po angielsku. Język
angielski jest jednym z najważniejszych języków na świecie; więc mogę się
porozumiewać z większością ludzi na świecie.
Porozumiewanie się jest ważne w życiu, bo pomaga
nam łatwo dzielić się informacjami. Na przykład wiadomości międzynarodowe są
przetłumaczone na różne języki. W ten sposób wszyscy na świecie wiedzą co się
dzieje w innych krajach.
Rozumienie innych języków pomaga nam również w
sytuacjach takich jak na przykład Haiti. Trzęsienie ziemi utrudniło im życie.
Kanadyjczycy pojechali tam pomóc jako pierwsi. Dlatego, że tu mówimy po angielsku,
ale również mówimy po francusku. Na wyspie Haiti ludzie mowią też po francusku
więc mogliśmy łatwo porozumiewać się z nimi i mogliśmy im pomagać.
Znajomość języków obcych pomaga nam żyć. Dzięki nim
możemy innym pomagać, porozumiewiać się, przekazywać informacje więc znajomość
języków łączy ludzi na świecie.

Connecting
our world through languages.
Languages connect our world because they let us
communicate with each other. With communication we can learn new cultures,
traditions and ideas.
Because not everyone shares or knows the same language
we have universal symbols and signs.
For example doctors know Latin for medication
because it is a central language for medications and that’s how they
communicate.
We also have the same bathroom signs, stop signs
etc. These signs help us because when we travel we know somewhat where we are
going.
Languages are what connect us.
